WEP is an independent production company based in London and West Wales.

First and foremost we are an entertainment company.

We are always looking for new talent and interesting co-productions.

Our current slate includes production and development across Film, Television, Theatre, and Digital Media.

The Visit App

Visit offers a simple, digital way to plot a journey based on special areas of interest - be that a film, an artist or writer or a hobby like surfing or rambling. It allows this journey to be elegantly annotated with text, image and video.

This journey can then packaged and shared via the user's preferred social media (Facebook / Twitter) and digested offline, in situation (as an enhancement of the trip) or at home (as a recommendation for a friend or a motivation to travel) or simply as a piece of mapped entertainment for someone interested in the subject matter or location.

‘Visit’ was inspired by the fan reaction to our first film – ‘Third Star’ where many fans made visits to Barafundle Bay and the film’s other Pembrokeshire locations after watching the film and we realised there is no a simple way to map, document and share these journeys. We felt this passionate way to travel and tell stories at the same time needed a dedicated tool.

Visit content will evolve and manifest in a variety of formats. WEP have made Hero “Visits” to inspire and explore the potential of the tool – focusing on the many eclectic productions happening in Wales. This content includes exclusive interviews with Craig Roberts, Joe Calzaghe and Dougray Scott, but we fully expect another level of creativity to come about when ‘Visit’ is launched and users make their own Visits based on their journeys and passions.

You can download a beta version of the app for free at the iTunes store
